About The Roar Report
As a kid, I made countless memories watching Pee Dee Pride hockey at the Florence Civic Center. Little did I realize that almost twenty years after the team folded, I would have the chance to take my own kids to a hockey game — this time with the Pee Dee IceCats.
While I have enjoyed going to games, meeting the players, joining the booster club, and taking my kids to meet and greets, I’ve wanted to find a way to contribute to the team that is unique to me. I’m a lifetime Pee Dee resident, I love writing, and I deeply want to see the hockey community thrive in this region.

This site is my attempt to contribute to the conversation. My goal is to provide quality content about the IceCats that can be consumed by fans, shared on social media, and ultimately used to benefit the team.
With hockey finally back in the Pee Dee for the first time in almost two decades, I want to do my part to make sure it succeeds. Thanks for stopping by, and Go IceCats!
